JOB FAIR 2020

Hello everyone am back with my experience of a Job fair held in nearby district magistrate office on 29 Feb 2020. Indian education system is really making me sick, even the Medinipur Chairman who is behind this great idea of providing employment is with lack of applicability. There were 6 companies in total which came for the Interview. Usually everyone expects at-least 3 to 4 job positions in each slot of company. But the scam here is the company for which I had applied had 1 slot & a total of 200+ candidates had applied for the same company. On the other hand the remaining companies offered only 2 slots for which over 300 candidates came for interview.

PROCEDURE AND IMPLEMENTATION

Medinipur Authorities who put up the idea for Registration online to attend Fair was a clever move. This shows we are proceeding towards a developing society by the better use of internet for this purpose.

1. You have to visit the JOB FAIR website to get yourself registered with your valid phone number.
2. Remember You have to be a resident under Medinipur district. Other districts candidates are not allowed.
3. Fill in your personal details including your resume or bio data.
4. You can opt for only 2 company after completion of registration process.
5. After applying You will get a regisrtation certificate with interview date and timings on it.

We have to reach the venue on given date and time. I too had reached on time, parking my bike, followed by the instruction given by a lady police. Then I entered through the main gate where a person sitting on desk asked me about my Registration certificate.  He instructed me to go to the right side of the ground where everyone were sitting. I walked in towards the shed where i met my friend. We just had a talk about the job we applied for.The reporting time ut the prog started after 12 pm, lecturers, opening ceremony song etc, till that time i was totally fed up like what the hell is going on man. after 2 pm we were instructed to join line in the given companies name, my turn is about to come and my nervousness is at peak, I entered the room where i saw 4 interviewers were sitting & am like did I came foe NASA job interview, i was pissed off seriously. i was asked to take my seat, i wished them all " Namaste Sir" . after that my interview started like this:-

1st interviewer : What is your Name?
me                  : My Name is Subham Das and I am from kharagpur.
interviewer       : OK fine, you stay at kharagpur but where?
me                  : gave them my Address
interviewer       : what you have studied? your latest completed studies?
me                  : Sir I have completed my BCOM from KD clg midnapore only right now am studying
                          COMPANY SECRETARY.
interviewer      :  what if you get this job ? then you will have prob in studying your           

                         current Professional course. both cant be done right?

me                  : yes sir you are right but i have completed my Coaching and now am  

                         studying at home.

interviewer      : that great !!! well you have mentioned about tally erp course in CV, do

                         you have idea about tax filing and gst in tally?

me                 : yes i do know about tally with tax filing and gst...

interviewer     : OK fine what is salary expectations? regarding this job profile

me                  : sir i have 0 work experience and looking forward to build my cv ..so i

                         dont have any salary expectations.

interviewer     : am pretty happy with ur response. i will be keeping ur cv along with

                        tally xerox certificate, if you are selected then we will drop you a 

                         call. thank you.

me                 : OK sir. thank you very much.

after this i greated them and walked out...

my experience with this interview was good, everyone should appear for interviews as it will help in boosting your confidence.
